This Earth Day, the message from the hydrogen industry is: the transition from ambition to action is firmly underway. Ten years ago, hydrogen for decarbonisation was a concept. Five years ago, a bold ambition. Today, it is becoming reality.

South Korea is showing how hydrogen mobility can move from strategy to everyday reality. At the end of 2025, the Hydrogen Council convened in Seoul for our CEO Summit, where we saw firsthand how South Korea is scaling hydrogen mobility in practice.

Across the world, hydrogen is scaling up but nowhere is this progress more visible than in China. Earlier this year, the Hydrogen Council convened in Shanghai for our inaugural Business Forum, where we saw firsthand the rapid pace of development across China’s hydrogen ecosystem.
