Speaking to BNamericas following the launch of Globaler Wasserstoffkompass 2026, our CEO Ivana Jemelkova discussed the progress of clean hydrogen projects worldwide and how energy security and industrial resilience are shaping investment decisions.
Committed investment has surpassed USD 130 billion across more than 570 projects. Operational capacity has nearly doubled over the past year, with further growth expected in 2027.
Ivana also explored the different paths emerging in Latin America, from Brazil’s focus on renewable ammonia and fertiliser supply to Chile’s opportunities in heavy industry and, over time, exports.
The next challenge is turning policy commitments into clear, stable rules that allow more projects to reach final investment decision and secure demand.
