六名新成员加入氢能理事会，加强了整个行业的全球合作。

BRUSSELS, September 29, 2026 – The Hydrogen Council, the world’s largest and only CEO-led global hydrogen alliance, today welcomes six new members: Acwa, EcoLog, Hydrom, Mitsui O.S.K Lines., TANAKA, and 2JCP.

The new members broaden the Council’s geographic representation to nearly 30 countries, including its first members in Oman and the Czech Republic. They bring capabilities spanning industrial manufacturing and system integration, large-scale hydrogen production, market development, infrastructure, and international transport and technology. Together, they add experience across many of the practical elements needed to connect hydrogen supply with demand and advance deployment at scale.

A key lesson from the Hydrogen Council’s new 全球氢能指南2026, released on September 10, is that hydrogen scales not project-by-project, but ecosystem-by-ecosystem. The Hydrogen Council brings together companies from across the full hydrogen value chain – production, infrastructure, transport and demand. These six new members add expertise across many of those areas, further strengthening the Council’s role as a platform for collaboration.

Welcoming the new members, Ivana Jemelkova, CEO of the Hydrogen Council, said: “Hydrogen is a team sport. No single company can build the market alone. Scaling hydrogen requires companies with different capabilities to work together across the value chain. Our six new members bring valuable experience and perspectives to that collective effort, and we are very pleased to welcome them to the Hydrogen Council.”

• Acwa, represented by CEO Dr. Samir J. Serhan, is a global developer, investor and operator across power, water and renewable hydrogen. Renewable hydrogen is a strategic growth platform for the company, including through its role in the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project and development of the Yanbu Green Hydrogen Hub in Saudi Arabia. Acwa’s ambition is to produce some of the world’s most competitive renewable hydrogen by leveraging high-quality renewable resources, integrated project development and EPC delivery, and its established project-finance capabilities.
  
  
• EcoLog, represented by CEO Ellen Ruhotas, is developing integrated liquid hydrogen midstream solutions connecting production regions with demand centres in Europe and Asia. Its flagship project has two main components. First, the EcoLog Terminal Amsterdam, designed to import 200,000 tonnes of hydrogen annually in its first phase when operational in 2030, and scale to 600,000 tonnes in a second phase. Alongside this, Ecolog is developing dedicated liquid hydrogen vessels drawing on the shipping expertise of its sister company GasLog. By applying an end-to-end value chain, EcoLog has been able to build liquid hydrogen corridors, linking supply regions like the Middle East, India, and North and South America to the European and Asian offtake markets.
  
  
• Hydrom, represented by Managing Director Eng. Abdulaziz Al Shidhani, serves as the national orchestrator of Oman’s ‘Green Hydrogen Strategy’ execution and renewable hydrogen sector development. Guided by its vision to position Oman as a leading global renewable hydrogen hub, Hydrom’s mission is to create sustainable value for Oman’s economy through the development of a competitive and sustainable renewable hydrogen ecosystem. Its mandate includes advising government on strategy, policy and legal frameworks; delineating government-owned land for hydrogen development; structuring large-scale projects and managing developer allocation processes; and facilitating shared infrastructure and related industries.
  
  
• Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), represented by Representative Director, Chairman of the Board, Takeshi Hashimoto, is contributing to the development of hydrogen value chains through activities spanning transportation, production, storage, utilisation and delivery. Its initiatives include equity participation in JSE Ocean, which is advancing liquefied hydrogen transportation to Japan, as well as commercial demonstrations of hydrogen use including a new multi-purpose vessel equipped with a hydrogen dual-fuel engine and hydrogen-powered cargo-handling equipment at container terminals in Kobe.
  
  
• TANAKA, represented by Group CEO Koichiro Tanaka, has developed fuel cell catalysts since the 1980s, building on decades of expertise in precious metal materials and catalyst technologies. Today, its hydrogen-related technologies also include electrocatalysts for water electrolysis, catalysts for hydrogen production and purification, and palladium-based hydrogen separation technologies. These capabilities are supported by industrial-scale manufacturing and integrated precious metal recovery and refining, enabling TANAKA to contribute across hydrogen production, purification and utilization while advancing the circular use of precious metal resources and a more sustainable hydrogen industry.
  
  
• 2JCP, represented by President & CEO Vojtěch Křenovský, is a global technology deployment partner supporting the growth of the hydrogen industry through industrial manufacturing, system integration and project delivery. Its activities include engineering and manufacturing critical process equipment and pressure systems; modular packaging and integration of hydrogen technologies, with a particular focus on electrolysers; and delivery of integrated hydrogen technology projects through engineering, manufacturing, procurement, installation and commissioning.
