\u00a0Dans un monde \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique en pleine mutation, il s'agit d'une opportunit\u00e9 strat\u00e9gique majeure.

Avant le Convention canadienne sur l'hydrog\u00e8ne<\/a> \u00e0 Edmonton, o\u00f9 notre PDG Ivana Jemelkova<\/a> Selon les donn\u00e9es du Conseil de l'hydrog\u00e8ne de septembre 2025, le secteur de l'hydrog\u00e8ne au Canada est en pleine expansion\u00a0:

\ud83d\udcb0 $6,6 milliards d'investissements engag\u00e9s
\ud83d\udcca Capacit\u00e9 de production d'hydrog\u00e8ne propre engag\u00e9e de 0,75 Mtpa
\u267b\ufe0f 97%, un hydrog\u00e8ne \u00e0 faible teneur en carbone, combin\u00e9 \u00e0 d'importantes ressources \u00e9oliennes, pr\u00e9pare le Canada \u00e0 devenir un chef de file des exportations.

Concr\u00e8tement, qu'est-ce que cela signifie sur le terrain\u00a0? Gr\u00e2ce aux grands projets d'Air Liquide, d'Air Products, de Linde et de Shell, entre autres, d\u00e9j\u00e0 en exploitation ou en d\u00e9veloppement, le Canada abrite certaines des infrastructures de production d'hydrog\u00e8ne propre et de captage, utilisation et stockage du carbone (CCUS) les plus importantes au monde. Par exemple\u00a0:

Air Liquide<\/a> L'entreprise construit sa plateforme de B\u00e9cancour depuis 2021, combinant un \u00e9lectrolyseur PEM de 20 MW d\u00e9j\u00e0 op\u00e9rationnel avec un nouveau complexe de production de gaz \u00e0 faible teneur en carbone \u2013 cr\u00e9ant ainsi l'un des p\u00f4les d'hydrog\u00e8ne propre et de gaz industriels les plus int\u00e9gr\u00e9s d'Am\u00e9rique du Nord.

Produits de l'air<\/a> fait progresser la construction d'un complexe \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne \u00e0 z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission nette de 1,6 milliard de dollars canadiens \u00e0 Edmonton, combinant une production \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle avec l'infrastructure de pipelines existante pour d\u00e9carboner le raffinage, permettre le transport de charges lourdes et stimuler la croissance \u00e9conomique r\u00e9gionale.

Linde<\/a> Dow investit plus de 1\u00a0402 milliards de dollars dans la construction d'une nouvelle usine int\u00e9gr\u00e9e de production d'hydrog\u00e8ne propre au c\u0153ur industriel de l'Alberta, afin d'alimenter son projet Path2Zero. Une fois achev\u00e9e en 2028, cette usine sera la plus grande installation de production d'hydrog\u00e8ne propre du Canada et l'une des plus importantes au monde, capturant plus de 2 millions de tonnes de CO\u2082 par an.

Coquille<\/a> L'installation Quest CCS du Canada est en activit\u00e9 depuis 2015. Elle stocke en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 le CO\u2082 issu de la production d'hydrog\u00e8ne et partage les connaissances acquises afin d'acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer son d\u00e9ploiement \u00e0 plus grande \u00e9chelle dans l'industrie. Elle a maintenant stock\u00e9 plus de 10 millions de tonnes de CO\u2082.
