A pesar del desaf\u00edo, es fundamental abordarlo para alcanzar la neutralidad de carbono a nivel global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dos tecnolog\u00edas de movilidad el\u00e9ctrica, alimentadas por bater\u00edas y celdas de combustible de hidr\u00f3geno respectivamente, han surgido como soluciones comercialmente viables en diferentes segmentos del mercado que pueden ayudarnos a hacer la transici\u00f3n hacia una movilidad limpia. Sin embargo, estas soluciones a menudo compiten entre s\u00ed en lugar de ser complementarias. Esta dicotom\u00eda reduccionista debe ser desafiada por la industria, los gobiernos y el p\u00fablico en general si queremos lograr nuestros objetivos clim\u00e1ticos compartidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muchos l\u00edderes de la industria est\u00e1n comprometidos con una visi\u00f3n de descarbonizaci\u00f3n del transporte a trav\u00e9s de un enfoque de &quot;mundo combinado&quot;: una gama de soluciones que incluyen veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos de celda de combustible (FCEV) y veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos de bater\u00eda (BEV). Est\u00e1n movilizando una inversi\u00f3n sin precedentes para llevar ambas soluciones al mercado porque creen que trabajar juntos har\u00e1 que nuestro transporte sea m\u00e1s ecol\u00f3gico y lo har\u00e1 m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido y m\u00e1s barato que una sola tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Las ventajas de implementar BEV y FCEV<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>En primer lugar, la implementaci\u00f3n de BEV y FCEV en t\u00e1ndem mantiene la flexibilidad y las opciones para los consumidores en todos los sectores del transporte. La elecci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima entre BEV y FCEV depende de la ubicaci\u00f3n y el uso final. Al tener ambos disponibles, podemos cumplir con las expectativas de los consumidores y propietarios que buscan optimizar el valor. Cuanto mejor abordemos las necesidades y expectativas de los clientes, m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido adoptar\u00e1n estas soluciones limpias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En segundo lugar, desde una perspectiva sist\u00e9mica, los BEV y los FCEV son notablemente similares en eficiencia cuando comienzan en la fuente de energ\u00eda, ya sea solar o e\u00f3lica. Sin embargo, los BEV no son una opci\u00f3n viable para todas las regiones y aplicaciones, y el hidr\u00f3geno puede llenar ese vac\u00edo. El hidr\u00f3geno se puede producir en regiones con abundante generaci\u00f3n renovable y enviarse a \u00e1reas que luchan por alcanzar la autosuficiencia renovable, expandiendo as\u00ed la penetraci\u00f3n de las energ\u00edas renovables en toda la econom\u00eda global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, las sinergias entre BEV y FCEV contin\u00faan en el desarrollo de la infraestructura de carga o reabastecimiento relacionada. Si bien la sabidur\u00eda convencional es que una sola infraestructura es m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mica que dos, los datos muestran que desarrollar dos redes de infraestructura es m\u00e1s rentable. Esto se debe a que el reabastecimiento de hidr\u00f3geno puede reducir la carga m\u00e1xima y llevar grandes cantidades de energ\u00eda a \u00e1reas relativamente remotas que tienen necesidades cr\u00edticas de transporte, al mismo tiempo que minimiza las actualizaciones o la extensi\u00f3n de la red el\u00e9ctrica, que de otro modo ser\u00edan necesarias y extremadamente costosas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Se necesita colaboraci\u00f3n para descarbonizar el transporte<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Estamos convencidos de que ambas tecnolog\u00edas son necesarias. Sabemos que la transici\u00f3n hacia el transporte descarbonizado apenas comienza. Incluso con el alto crecimiento de las ventas de BEV en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, el 98% de los veh\u00edculos de pasajeros y pr\u00e1cticamente el 100% de los veh\u00edculos comerciales en carretera todav\u00eda funcionan con motores de combusti\u00f3n. Los BEV y los FCEV contribuyen al mismo objetivo: descarbonizar la flota mundial. Cada BEV y FCEV en la carretera es un paso en la direcci\u00f3n correcta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pasar al transporte con cero emisiones presenta muchos desaf\u00edos, pero se puede lograr cuando la industria y el gobierno se concentran en la meta y trabajan juntos. No solo tenemos una, sino dos opciones comercialmente viables a nuestra disposici\u00f3n que pueden acelerar y reducir los riesgos de la transici\u00f3n y mantener los costos bajos. La b\u00fasqueda de FCEV y BEV en paralelo fomenta la innovaci\u00f3n y el progreso.
