En consecuencia, el continente est\u00e1\u00a0Fuertemente posicionado para convertirse en un productor y exportador de hidr\u00f3geno renovable y sus derivados.<\/strong>. El uso de estos recursos renovables para producir hidr\u00f3geno tanto para el mercado interno como para la exportaci\u00f3n (ya sea como hidr\u00f3geno puro o como derivados (amoniaco, combustible sint\u00e9tico, briquetas de hierro en caliente y otros) podr\u00eda crear un\u00a0oportunidad beneficiosa para todas las partes interesadas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Se espera que Europa y partes de Asia requieran importantes importaciones de hidr\u00f3geno renovable y sus derivados para 2050.<\/strong>. Con las condiciones propicias adecuadas y si los pa\u00edses africanos pueden capturar 15% del volumen de hidr\u00f3geno comercializado a nivel mundial previsto, la producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno renovable para la exportaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda crecer de 1 mill\u00f3n de toneladas por a\u00f1o (Mtpa) en 2030 a 11 Mtpa en 2050. La producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno renovable podr\u00eda movilizar un inversi\u00f3n acumulada de 400 mil millones de d\u00f3lares. Esto aumentar\u00eda el valor de las exportaciones africanas en 15 mil millones de d\u00f3lares en 2050 y crear\u00eda un impacto acumulativo.\u00a013 millones de a\u00f1os-empleo para 2050<\/strong>, y tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda\u00a0Permitir un despliegue m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido de energ\u00eda renovable para uso dom\u00e9stico a menor precio.\u00a0<\/strong>costos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo,\u00a0bajo las circunstancias actuales<\/strong>, el mayor riesgo a nivel nacional y de ejecuci\u00f3n de proyectos en \u00c1frica est\u00e1 elevando los costos de financiamiento, lo que hace que\u00a0El coste esperado de producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno de los pa\u00edses africanos es superior al de los de Oriente Medio y Australia.<\/strong>. De hecho, si bien hay proyectos en el continente en etapas anunciadas y de planificaci\u00f3n que corresponden a inversiones de m\u00e1s de 50 mil millones de d\u00f3lares para 2030, la\u00a0La cartera de proyectos africanos de hidr\u00f3geno est\u00e1 menos madura<\/strong>\u00a0que el promedio mundial. En \u00c1frica, s\u00f3lo alrededor\u00a05% del volumen de inversi\u00f3n del proyecto se encuentran en la etapa de dise\u00f1o de ingenier\u00eda inicial y en la etapa posterior (FEED+)<\/strong>, en comparaci\u00f3n con 20% a nivel mundial. Y lo que es m\u00e1s,\u00a0s\u00f3lo 1% ha pasado la decisi\u00f3n final de inversi\u00f3n (FID)<\/strong>, en comparaci\u00f3n con 7% a nivel mundial.<\/p>\n

Existe por tanto una oportunidad<\/strong>\u00a0para que las partes interesadas realicen el potencial del hidr\u00f3geno de \u00c1frica para sus ciudadanos y para el mundo. Las partes interesadas podr\u00edan considerar tomar una o varias acciones para\u00a0Reducir el costo de financiamiento, lo que aumenta las posibilidades de \u00e9xito del proyecto.<\/strong>. Estos incluyen asegurar acuerdos de compra, asegurar el suministro de hardware, implementar infraestructura compartida, identificar y trabajar con proveedores capaces de ingenier\u00eda, adquisiciones y construcci\u00f3n (EPC), hacer uso de seguros contra riesgos pol\u00edticos y estructurar y poner a disposici\u00f3n financiaci\u00f3n concesional.<\/p>\n
