Die Speicheranlage ist in die 340 Meilen (545 km) lange Wasserstoffpipeline von Linde integriert, die mehr als 50 Raffinerien und Chemieanlagen von Sweeny, Texas, nach Lake Charles, Louisiana, versorgt.<\/p><p>Das Pipelinenetz von Linde an der Golfk\u00fcste ist in der Lage, 1,2 Milliarden Kubikfu\u00df (32 Millionen Kubikmeter) Wasserstoff pro Tag im station\u00e4ren Zustand zu liefern, mit einer t\u00e4glichen Spitzenkapazit\u00e4t von 1,3 Milliarden Kubikfu\u00df (35 Millionen Kubikmeter).<\/p><p><strong>F. Wie erh\u00f6ht die bestehende Kaverne die Verf\u00fcgbarkeit von Wasserstoff?<\/strong><\/p><p>Durch die direkte Integration in das Herz des 340 Meilen langen Wasserstoff-Pipelinesystems von Linde an der Golfk\u00fcste kann die Kaverne den geplanten oder ungeplanten Wasserstoffbedarf eines Kunden sofort decken.<\/p><p>Beispielsweise liefern die meisten Raffinerien einen erheblichen Teil ihres Wasserstoffbedarfs aus ihren eigenen Wasserstoffquellen, und manchmal sind diese Quellen nicht mehr verf\u00fcgbar. In der Vergangenheit passten Raffinerien ihre Raffinerieprozesse an, wenn Wasserstoff bei einem Versorgungsausfall nicht sofort verf\u00fcgbar war. Die Kaverne stellt diese Online-Backup-Versorgung bereit.<\/p><p><strong>F. Warum eine Kaverne f\u00fcr die Verf\u00fcgbarkeit verwenden? K\u00f6nnte man das nicht mit Wasserstoff-Produktionsanlagen machen?<\/strong><\/p><p>Gaspipelinesysteme arbeiten mit begrenzter Speicherkapazit\u00e4t, daher muss Linde das Systemangebot kontinuierlich an die Kundennachfrage anpassen. Im Fall unserer Kaverne in Texas war der anf\u00e4ngliche Treiber die Tatsache, dass Wasserstoffproduktionsanlagen nicht sofort an- und abgeschaltet werden k\u00f6nnen<br \/>ohne gro\u00dfe Ineffizienzen und erheblichen Verschlei\u00df der Ausr\u00fcstung, und es gibt Zeiten, in denen der Wasserstoffbedarf der Raffinerie nicht gedeckt wird und der Raffineriebetrieb gezwungen ist, seinen Produktionsprozess anzupassen. Die Online-Speicherkaverne \u00e4ndert dieses Verf\u00fcgbarkeitsparadigma.<\/p><p>Dasselbe gilt f\u00fcr erneuerbare Energien \u2013 die Sonne scheint nicht immer und der Wind weht nicht immer, aber die Nachfrage ist st\u00e4ndig da und wir m\u00fcssen sicherstellen, dass wir eine L\u00f6sung haben, um Angebot und Nachfrage zuverl\u00e4ssig und wirtschaftlich abzustimmen.<\/p><p><strong>F.
