Stattdessen brauchen wir eine Kombination von Technologien mit unterschiedlichen St\u00e4rken \u2013 n\u00e4mlich Batterie-Elektrofahrzeuge (BEVs) und Brennstoffzellen-Elektrofahrzeuge (FCEVs) \u2013 um ein umweltfreundlicheres System zu schaffen, und zwar schneller und kosteng\u00fcnstiger als nur eine dieser Optionen zu verfolgen in Isolation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es gibt drei Hauptgr\u00fcnde f\u00fcr diesen \u201ekombinierten Welt\u201c-Ansatz:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Erstens Effizienz: Eine Tank-to-Wheel-Perspektive, die manchmal verwendet wird, um BEVs mit FCEVs zu vergleichen, ist zu eng, um die globale Herausforderung, mit der wir konfrontiert sind, wirklich zu erfassen. F\u00fcr eine umfassende Energiewende m\u00fcssen wir die Energiequelle ber\u00fccksichtigen, ob Sonne oder Wind. BEVs k\u00f6nnen problemlos mit lokalen Solar- und Windressourcen aufgeladen werden, aber nicht alle Regionen genie\u00dfen eine Selbstversorgung mit erneuerbarem Strom. Hier kann Wasserstoff eine positive Rolle spielen. Da Wasserstoff \u00fcber Regionen hinweg transportiert werden kann, kann er an idealen Standorten mit hoher Sonnen- und Windleistung produziert und dann dort exportiert werden, wo er ben\u00f6tigt wird. Eine Sun-to-Wheel- oder Wind-to-Wheel-Perspektive \u00e4ndert die Effizienzdebatte komplett. Gleiches gilt, wenn der gesamte Lebenszyklus eines Fahrzeugs betrachtet wird und nicht nur die Tank-to-Wheel-Effizienz: BEV und FCEV sind nahezu kompatibel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zweitens Infrastruktur: Die Entwicklung von BEVs und FCEVs mit ihren jeweiligen Infrastrukturnetzwerken wird ein symbiotisches Transport\u00f6kosystem schaffen, das einen schnelleren und \u2013 vielleicht \u00fcberraschend \u2013 kosteng\u00fcnstigeren \u00dcbergang erm\u00f6glicht. Da immer mehr BEVs eingesetzt werden, erfordert die Nachfrage im Stromnetz kostspielige Upgrades und die Expansion in abgelegenere Regionen. Diese Kosten k\u00f6nnen reduziert werden, indem die Nachfrage im Netz durch den parallelen Aufbau eines Wasserstofftankstellennetzes verringert wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beispielsweise ist der Umfang der Infrastrukturinvestitionen f\u00fcr das Schnellladen beim Betanken von Autobahnen offensichtlich. Der massive Energieverbrauch von Schwerlast-Lkw muss in den Ruhezeiten der Fahrer nachgeladen werden, um wirtschaftlich machbar zu sein. In der Praxis bedeutet dies, dass der Stromverbrauch jeder Autobahnladestation dem einer Stadt mit etwa 25.000 Einwohnern entsprechen m\u00fcsste, die in abgelegenen Gebieten mit ausreichend Verkabelung und Umspannwerken versorgt werden muss. Genau hier kann Wasserstoff helfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicht zuletzt die Verbraucher: Kontext und Ort der Fahrzeugnutzung sind eine der wichtigsten \u00dcberlegungen beim \u00dcbergang zur Elektromobilit\u00e4t. Ein Vorortpendler in einem Einfamilienhaus mit Park- und Ladezugang ist mit einem BEV bestens bedient. Ein Gesch\u00e4ftsreisender, der auf ein hochflexibles Fahrzeug mit wechselhaften, langen Strecken und ohne zuverl\u00e4ssigen Ladezugang angewiesen ist, w\u00fcrde das FCEV jedoch f\u00fcr eine h\u00f6here Produktivit\u00e4t bevorzugen. Alles in allem gilt: Je besser wir auf diese unterschiedlichen Bed\u00fcrfnisse eingehen, desto schneller k\u00f6nnen wir den Verbrauchern beim \u00dcbergang zu elektrischen L\u00f6sungen helfen. Und jedes weitere BEV oder FCEV auf der Stra\u00dfe ist ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung und bringt uns unserer gemeinsamen Vision einer sauberen Mobilit\u00e4t n\u00e4her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir wissen vielleicht nicht genau, wie die Welt bis 2050 aussehen wird, aber wir wissen, dass dies ein \u00dcbergang von beispiellosem Ausma\u00df und Risiko ist, und wir befinden uns in der Anfangsphase mit vielen Problemen, die in der gesamten Transport-Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette gel\u00f6st werden m\u00fcssen. Das Angebot mehrerer Technologien, die auf individuelle Anwendungsf\u00e4lle zugeschnitten sind, erh\u00f6ht die Benutzerakzeptanz f\u00fcr diese erhebliche gesellschaftliche und gesch\u00e4ftliche Herausforderung und erh\u00f6ht somit die \u00dcbergangsgeschwindigkeit. Die Klimakrise erfordert die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Regionen, Interessengruppen und allen verf\u00fcgbaren technologischen L\u00f6sungen.
