Laut dem CEO des Hydrogen Council k\u00f6nnte die EU das globale Wachstum im Bereich sauberer Wasserstoff ma\u00dfgeblich pr\u00e4gen, doch Verz\u00f6gerungen bei der Festlegung der endg\u00fcltigen Regeln bergen die Gefahr, dass Projekte im In- und Ausland gebremst werden.<\/p>\n

Ivana Jemelkova sagte gegen\u00fcber H2 View, dass L\u00e4nder wie China und die USA zwar durch Industriepolitik und Steueranreize Fortschritte erzielen, Europas St\u00e4rke aber in seiner F\u00e4higkeit liege, die Nachfrage durch Regulierung anzukurbeln.<\/p>\n

\u201cDie F\u00e4higkeit der EU, die Nachfrage anzukurbeln, ist entscheidend\u201d, sagte sie. \u201cDas ist eine Karte, die Europa noch nicht voll ausgespielt hat. Das f\u00e4ngt gerade erst an.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nach den eigenen Prognosen des Hydrogen Council k\u00f6nnten die Vorgaben der europ\u00e4ischen Richtlinie \u00fcber erneuerbare Energien (RED III) zusammen mit Programmen in den USA, Japan und S\u00fcdkorea bis 2030 eine Nachfrage nach Wasserstoff von acht Millionen Tonnen pro Jahr (mtpa) ausl\u00f6sen.<\/p>\n

\u201cEuropa k\u00f6nnte nicht nur seine eigenen Bed\u00fcrfnisse, sondern den gesamten Weltmarkt gestalten.\u201d<\/p>\n

RED III legt Nutzungsvorgaben f\u00fcr gr\u00fcnen Wasserstoff in Industrie und Mobilit\u00e4t fest. Europa positioniert sich zudem als potenzieller Hauptimporteur dieses Energietr\u00e4gers, da die hohen Strompreise eine fl\u00e4chendeckende heimische Produktion behindern k\u00f6nnten.<\/p>\n

Die Regeln, nach denen importierter Wasserstoff die Zielvorgaben erf\u00fcllen soll, sind jedoch noch ungekl\u00e4rt. Jemelkova warnte, dass weitere Verz\u00f6gerungen bei der Festlegung dieser Regeln die endg\u00fcltigen Investitionsentscheidungen in Europa und dar\u00fcber hinaus verz\u00f6gern k\u00f6nnten.<\/p>\n

\u201cUns sind einige Projekte im Nahen Osten und in anderen Teilen der Welt bekannt, die darauf warten, diese Kennzahl in die FID-Berechnung einflie\u00dfen zu lassen und dann zu sehen, ob ihr Projekt realisiert wird oder nicht\u201d, sagte sie.<\/p>\n

\u201cEuropa hat die M\u00f6glichkeit zu entscheiden, ob wir mehr Reife und Wachstum erleben oder ob die Entwicklung gebremst wird.\u201d<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend technische Fortschritte bei der Realisierung von Projekten helfen werden, sieht Jemelkova den politischen Willen als die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Herausforderung.<\/p>\n

Sie verwies auf China, das ihrer Aussage nach Wasserstoff bereits zu einer strategischen Priorit\u00e4t und nicht nur zu einem Motor der Dekarbonisierung erkl\u00e4rt habe.<\/p>\n

Der j\u00fcngste Bericht des Hydrogen Council zeigt, dass China mit 1.400.330 Milliarden US-Dollar an globalen Investitionszusagen f\u00fchrend ist und \u00fcber eine weltweite operative Kapazit\u00e4t von \u00fcber 501.300.000 Tonnen f\u00fcr gr\u00fcnen Wasserstoff verf\u00fcgt.<\/p>\n

Und w\u00e4hrend der Bericht eine Spaltung der CEO-Meinungen dar\u00fcber feststellte, ob eine solche Dominanz auch in anderen Regionen erreicht werden kann, glaubt Jemelkova, dass dies mit ihrem Engagement m\u00f6glich ist.<\/p>\n

\u201cDas Unternehmen hat Wasserstoff als strategische Investition gew\u00e4hlt\u201d, sagte der CEO. \u201cEs sieht darin eine weitere Chance f\u00fcr technologische F\u00fchrungsrolle und Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit weltweit. Genau das w\u00fcrden wir uns auch von anderen Regierungen w\u00fcnschen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Der Schl\u00fcssel dazu, so sagte sie, liege in Pragmatismus und Realismus.<\/p>\n

\u201cDas Streben nach Perfektion darf nicht das Gute verhindern\u201d, betonte sie. \u201cEuropa versucht zwar in bester Absicht, den perfekten Rahmen zu schaffen, doch dadurch sind wir langsam, w\u00e4hrend andere Fortschritte machen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sie forderte die politischen Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger auf, eine solide Grundlage zu schaffen, die keine Kompromisse beim Klimaschutz eingeht, sich aber im Tempo der Industrie weiterentwickelt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
